FSMA Announces CEO Departure Effective April 1
The Foodservice Sales & Marketing Association (FSMA) announced today that President and CEO Rick Abraham left FSMA April 1 and has joined industry consulting firm Pentallect as a Partner. Abraham served as FSMA President & CEO since its formation in 2004.
Jerry Campbell, President and CEO of Affinity Group-Elite Associates and current FSMA Board Chairman assumed the FSMA President role effective April 1st. Jerry said, “We thank Rick for taking a risk with us in 2004 when we formed FSMA and for helping us build FSMA into the world class association it is today. Over the past several months, Rick and the staff put together a terrific transition plan that allows FSMA to continue to serve its members without interruption. New FSMA services, events and industry partnerships are planned for 2019-2020 and details will be announced soon. We wish Rick continued success in his new position at Pentallect.”
Abraham said: “I would like to thank the FSMA Board of Directors, membership, staff and all my industry associates and friends for their support. I am very confident FSMA will continue to serve the industry and the membership well into the future.”
FSMA will continue to provide its strong national voice and legal advocacy through General Counsel and CFO Barry Maloney. FSMA will also be adding new valuable member services including industry reports, webinars, FSMA Legal Briefs and Opinions, development of new conferences through alliances with industry partners, an online directory for manufacturers and agencies seeking representation, and extensive member discounts through an expanded new group purchasing program.
