I am excited to announce that The CORE Group is uniting with Acosta Foodservice to create a reimagined, best-in-class North America agency focused on providing solutions for the foodservice industry's new operating environment. This new business segment, CORE Foodservice, is part of the Acosta family of companies and will bring together industry leading capabilities from both companies to create a strategically resourced organization designed to meet the requirements of new customer behaviors and expectations.

I will continue to lead the team as CEO of CORE Foodservice and will join the Acosta Executive Leadership team. Taylor Crown, President of Acosta Foodservice, will play a senior leadership role with a focus on helping clients succeed as we integrate the two organizations.

We have all been affected by COVID-19, but the foodservice industry has been among the hardest hit, with market and operating conditions dramatically and permanently changed. CORE Foodservice is a powerful sales agency that is built to win in the new reality, responding to the need for innovation and new approaches that defy conventional selling models.

CORE Foodservice has been deliberately and proactively formed to provide enhanced execution and a greater competitive differentiation for our clients and customers. The new entity is uniquely poised to help clients leverage the rapid increase in consumers’ reliance on technology, particularly as the world is just starting to re-open from the pandemic. Its impressive portfolio of brands will present foodservice customers with more innovative and competitive solutions, while full access to Acosta’s robust data and analytics capabilities will provide diner and consumer insights that can drive solutions for clients and their customers.

We have structured CORE Foodservice to align with today’s market realities with a dedicated segment structure and over 750 customer facing sales associates to extend our reach while balancing proprietary technologies with human touch execution, to help clients redefine, modernize, and transform their end-to-end selling processes. The entity will work in harmony with Acosta’s retail, eCommerce, and other omnichannel capabilities, helping clients accelerate sales growth and earn greater market share.
