Patrick Mitchell CEC, AAC, FWMCS
Newly elected president of WMCS-USA, Chef Patrick Mitchell comes with over 40 years’ experience in the industry. He is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and winner of the 2016 USA National Chef of the Year awarded through the American Culinary Federation. In 2018 he represented the United States of America in the Global Chef Challenge, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In 2005 Chef Patrick won the Chef Professionalism award for the Central Region of the US and in 2020 was awarded the “Chairman’s Medallion” from the American Academy of Chefs. Chef Mitchell serves as the USA Ambassador of the World Master Chefs Society, is a Regional Director for the American Academy of Chefs and is a member of the State Board for the Texas Chefs Association. Chef Mitchell was invited to cook at the James Beard House in NYC as a Featured Chef in June 2019.
